Hello! Thanks for stopping by... My name is Tricia Steele and I've been a professional wedding photographer since 1990.
In the past I've also worked for many different photography companies, including Olan Mills & Glamour Shots.
I've photographed for daycares, summer camps and little leagues and have grown especially fond of shooting Weddings....
Capturing the bride's anticipation before the wedding, the beautiful setting of the ceremony and everyone having a great time at the reception...
I feel very blessed to have a career that I truly enjoy. I will not be overwhelming or demanding of you on your Wedding Day. Besides a few of the normal posed shots, I primarily like to take candid shots, creatively capturing your day as it happens in a discrete and non-intrusive way.
All of my packages and coverage options are customizeable and include all edited images burned to disc with print rights, an online album available within one week for you and your guests to view & order prints and keepsakes at very affordable prices. (your online album can be password protected if desired)
You will also receive a beautiful, personalized Slideshow with Music containing 50 of your favorite photos played along with your favorite song. This can be viewed with any DVD player, on computer or TV. A copy of your slideshow will be made for both sets of parents.

Your online galleries and your slideshow will be displayed and shall remain on my site for as long as you wish.
Below you'll find detailed information on what I do & what to expect from begining to end..
Before the Wedding:
To reserve my photography services for your wedding, I ask for 50% down of the coverage option of your choice. After that you will receive 2 forms via email, one is a Photography checklist which gives you an idea of just some of the shots that will be taken at your wedding as well as areas to fill in to personalize your list to help me to know whom in your family you want photographs with. The other document is somewhat of a questionaire and some basic information we both need to know.
I ask for these forms to be filled out and returned via email or regular mail along with your remaining balance due 2 weeks prior to your wedding.
The Day of your Wedding:
On the day of your Wedding I generally arrive 15-30 minutes early and I'll call you to let you know I am on my way. Upon my arrival, I will be ready to start shooting. Please refrain from wearing glitter on your skin....
Getting Ready Shots:
If you are having the "getting ready" shots taken, I ask that you be ready with hair and makeup done, but not yet dressed. As for the bridesmaids, they will need to be dressed and ready 1 hour before departure to ceremony.
Ceremony & Formal Shots:
If you are not having before shots taken, my photography will start when the ceremony begins with moms being escorted down the aisle. I take pictures from various angles and locations during the ceremony and ask that when the bride and groom are up at the alter getting ready to exchange rings that they both be turned directly facing each other so I can get a clear shot from any angle. And that the bridal party walk slowly down the aisle, to and from, and leave plenty of space between each other. Once the ceremony is over all guests not having photos taken will head to the reception while we get the formals taken. I usually start with grandparents so they don't get too tired waiting, and they can start enjoying themselves at the reception. Then I'll photograph parents and siblings and any other family members listed on your checklist. Once family is done, they can move onto the reception while we continue the shots of the bridal party. Once those are done they can move on and we will get some photos of the Bride and Groom, separate and together. Then off to the reception we go.... I like to be able to follow the limo and ask that the Bride & Groom stay in the Limo untill I am able to park and get to them so I can get a shot of them before they get out.
Reception pics:
I will go in ahead of the bridal party to be able to capture everyone being announced into the reception hall.
From there I will candidly capture all highlights of the reception as well as your guests dancing and so on.
If anyone, at anytime wants a photo they can feel free to ask.
Once the highlights such as cutting the cake, throwing the garter and bouquet are all complete I will come to you and ask if there are any other photos you would like for me to take before I leave.
After your Wedding:
For a Full Day of coverage, it takes me about 1 week to edit the photos and upload them to your online gallery. Galleries are organized into events, for example, you will have a gallery of the Ceremony shots, one for the formals and up to 3 or 4 just for the reception. Most Full Day events will have about 7 galleries.
I use Adobe Photoshop to edit each photo. This software program allows me to enhance every photo for optimum exposure, ensuring your satisfaction of the final output. As I am editing I will always find a few that I think might look good with a Special Effect, so I make duplicates and give you a few samples. For instance, Blured backgrounds: Motion blur, Soft focus. B/W, sepia tone, if there are a few you would like done in addition to that, just let me know and I'll edit a few more for you, before burning your edited images to disc.

No extra charge for minor edits up to 1 hour of work. $20/hr thereafter.
Your Slideshow with Music:
I will email you a link to your galleries when I'm done editing. Inside your gallery you'll see the frame number below each photo. Choose your favorite 50 (give or take a few) and let me know what song you want played with it, mail me your list and I'll make a beautiful Slideshow with Music for you to share and enjoy. Also a copy goes to each set of parents.
The Slideshow disc comes inside of a photo-cover case to display near your TV for easy access to share your wedding photos with family & friends.

Your Slideshow will be uploaded to my site for you to view online and make any changes before I burn it to disc.
It will remain online for you to be able to share it with anyone with an internet connection.
You get to choose the photo for the face of your discs and inscribe with your names and the date of your wedding.

Albums are a great way to remember your special day and quickly share your favorites with your friends & family. Decisions can be made on albums at any time before or after your wedding. Prices start at $175 for an 11x8 (horizontal) with 10 designed pages of photos. (equivilant to 20 - 8x10's in the album)
I have a large variety of albums covers to choose from in various colors and sizes.
After I design your pages, I'll send you an online proof in flip-book style as shown above, for you to approve or make changes before I send it off to print Albums usually take 2 weeks to print. More album details are available on the second page of my Prices page.
I offer $100 discounts for duplicate albums. Must be same size and same page designs.
If you are curious about the equipment I use... I have a Nikon D90, 12.4 mega-pixel Digital Format Camera, with various lenses but I primarily use my 18-135mm lens and also carry around an even wider lens. I use a Sunpak 622 Pro flash and a turbo 2x2 battery pack for my main source of power. I also have an identical set-up for backup in case of any technical issues... cords and all.
